Senior Pastor

Pastor Norm and his wife LauraFaith Evangelical Bible Church Pastor

 

Norm Waligora

 

Our pastor is an expository preacher who likes to teach through books of the Bible. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute (Bible/Theology Diploma, 1986; B.A. 1988) and Wheaton College Graduate School (M.A. Theological Studies, 1989). He met his wife, Laura, at Moody Bible Institute. She graduated in 1987 with a diploma in Christian Education.  Norm and Laura have five children: three girls (ages 19, 17, and 8) and two boys (ages 15 and 5).

 

Prior to coming to Faith Evangelical Bible Church Norm served as Pastoral Intern/Assistant to the Pastor at Belmont Bible Church in Downers Grove, Illinois (1986 - 1990), and as Pastor of Checkrow Community Church near Avon, Illinios (1990 - 1999). He has been the pastor of FEBC since October of 1999.

 

Pastor Norm was raised in the Roman Catholic Church, and came to know Jesus personally through the ministry of the Navigators while serving in the United States Marine Corp (1980-1983). While serving in the Marines, he was stationed at MCAS Cherry Point and attended FEBC. He feels honored to be back at "Faith Church" as pastor.

Welcome to the new website!

We want to welcome you to the newly redesigned website for Faith Evangelical Bible Church! This redesign process has taken a very long time, but now that it is finished, we are thrilled about the changes.

 

The one thing that has changed the most, as you can tell, is the design. Much of the menu systems and functionality have remained the same, though the menu system has also been revamped to help get you where you want to go even faster, with fewer clicks.

 

Please take a few minutes to familiarize yourself with the new layout. We think you will like the fact that you can get just about anywhere with just a few clicks. We are also available to help answer any questions about the new site and help your find your way around.
